Yorkshire
Known by many locals as 'Gods Own County', Yorkshire has so much to
offer to visitors that it is impossible to fit everything into just one
holiday.
Yorkshire is divided into North, South, East and West Yorkshire and its
capital is the stunning walled city of York. As like a lot of the
county, York is steeped in history and offers many attractions for
visitors.
Visitors to the coast are not only treated to famous resorts such as
Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough but also many of the best caravan
parks in the whole country.
The county has many large cities with the largest, Leeds, living up to
its nickname of ‘Knightsbridge of the North’ by
offering
one of the best shopping experiences in the UK.
Yorkshire is easily accessible from the North and South via the A1(m)
and M1 whilst the m62 gives easy access from the West.
